The 3rd IEEE Bombay Section Signature Conference (IBSSC-2021), is an international conference organized by IEEE Bombay Section and ABV-IIITM Gwalior, India. This flagship event will serve as a forum for disseminating the most recent advances in healthcare, agriculture, intelligent transportation, and renewable electronics, as well as potential research prospects. The city of stunning natural beauty and rich cultural heritage, Gwalior will be the host for the IBSSC-2021. Experts, scholars, and industry professionals from all over the world will present and discuss their work, shedding light on emerging technology developments in a comprehensive manner. Themed, “Frontiers of Technologies: Fuelling Prosperity of the Planet and People” this flagship conference of the IEEE Bombay Section will feature a comprehensive high-quality technical program including a variety of paper presentation, poster sessions, industry exhibits, experts talks, tutorials by eminent speakers and exhibition corners.

Since its inauguration in 2019, IBSSC has established a highly reputed and flagship conference of IEEE Bombay Section, covering diverse areas of cutting edge research. These include industry 4.0, Block-chain, Electronics Surveillance, Education Technology, Internet of Things, Data Science and Analytics, Robotics Process Automation and Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Healthcare Technologies, Intelligent Transportation, Internet of Vehicles, Agriculture Technologies, Green Electronics and Digital Transformation. Last year, the 2nd IBSSC was conducted on a virtual platform due to the pandemic. More than 138 attendees attended from worldwide, with 38 video presentations across the four technical sessions. Additionally, technology talks from industry and academic experts have been introduced. This edition is held with the Covid – 19 pandemics in the background affecting the conference format. As many other events, the IBSSC-2021 conference will be held in a mixed mode: online and on site at ABV-IIITM Gwalior – if circumstances permit. We hope most of the authors and participants will be in a position to make it to Gwalior, India.

About IEEE Bombay Section

IEEE Bombay Section was formed on July 13, 1976 from the erstwhile India Section along with Delhi and Bangalore sections. Initial territory of Bombay Section was Maharashtra, Goa, Gujarat. Gujarat and Pune city separated in 1990 and 2010 respectively. Now the territory includes Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Diu & Daman and comprises of two sub-Sections, namely Madhya Pradesh and Nagpur. IEEE Bombay Section is a registered trust and is fully volunteer driven. The Section’s Office is located in the Don Bosco Institute of Technology, Kurla(W), Mumbai. Bombay Section is one of the largest sections in India with 7000+ members, out of which about 4200 are student members spread over about 100 student branches all over the length and breadth of the section geography. The section currently runs 14 Societies, Affinity Groups and Communities. Bombay section conducted first ever workshop in 1977, taking an initiative to introduce Microprocessor and its application to our country. International Conference on Systems, Man and Cybernetics of the SMC Society was held in Bombay in 1984 which was the first conference of IEEE held in India. Bombay Section have hosted TENCON which is the premier annual international technical conference of IEEE Region 10 in 1989 and many more prestigious conferences and other events thereafter.

About ABV-IIITM Gwalior

ABV-Indian Institute of Information Technology and Management (IIITM) in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh is an autonomous institute set up by Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Govt. of India in 1997. It is an effort by MHRD towards creating professionals in areas of management and information technology from the same institute.
