Education in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) drive innovation and progress. STEM education goes beyond school subjects. It governs thinking & behaviour of young minds. It helps develop abilities to solve the challenges the world faces today. It imparts skill-sets that make youngsters more confident and employable. IEEE has been a forerunner in propagating awareness about technological advancements among the student and professional community around the world.
IEEE Region 10 Symposium (TENSYMP 2022) has initiated a special event called, “TENSYMP 2022 – Student-Expert Interaction Program: DISHA”, within the conference. The objective of the event is to provide a platform for discussions and interactions between expert invitee speakers with school children of low income schools to inspire, encourage and motivate them towards STEM education & careers.
