Important Dates:

Registration Opens : October 20th,  2022

Deadline for Camera-ready Paper Submission: November 20th,  2022 

CAREFULLY FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS MENTIONED BELOW FOR SUCCESSFUL SUBMISSION OF CAMERA-READY PAPER for IBSSC-2022

  1. You have already received the comments by the reviewers through notification email or from EasyChair. Please incorporate reviewers’ suggestions while preparing your camera-ready paper for the proceedings. The page limit for the paper is six pages and it is to be ensured. The final paper has to be submitted latest by 30th November 2022.  This is a firm deadline.
  2. At least one author of the paper must register under “Presenting Student/Professional Author” registration category and present the selected paper at IBSSC-2022, in order for the paper to be submitted to IEEE for inclusion in IEEEXplore. Each registration is meant for ONE participant only to attend the Conference. Co-author(s) who are also participating in the Conference, will need to register separately under “Student/Professional Attendees/Additional Author” registration category. Please keep the proof of payment with you as it may be asked to be submitted.
  3. Author can present Only ONE paper per registration and in case s/he wants to present more than ONE Paper, then s/he has to register for the Second Paper separately under the “Student/Professional Attendees/Additional Author” registration category.
  4. Author should submit the e-copyright transfer form and then upload the paper using EasyChair platform (https://easychair.org/), selecting author role for IBSSC-2022. EasyChair will permit uploading the Camera-Ready paper only after the e-Copyright is process is completed.
  5. Please make sure that the similarity index of your final manuscript is below 20%, using standard plagiarism checking software, before submitting the camera-ready paper from your end in order to confirm the submission of the paper in IEEE Xplore. If the similarity index, excluding references, is more than 20%, then your paper will not be included in the Symposium proceedings.
  6. The authors are urged to ensure that the camera-ready submission strictly follows the IEEE Template given at https://www.ieee.org/conferences/publishing/templates.html
  7. The camera-ready papers that do not meet the above-mentioned requirements will not be submitted for further consideration to IEEE Xplore.

 

The final manuscript should have the copyright clearance code notice at the bottom of the first page. Kindly refer to the LaTex/Word template provided here: https://www.ieee.org/conferences/publishing/templates.html  and replace the dummy code at the first page bottom with this code (Please, use the “Copy-Paste” functions instead of Typing)

 

Copyright details are included below for your reference. If the conference chooses to stamp the papers this will be in addition to the markings provided by the IEEE Publishing Operations team:  
For papers in which all authors are employed by the US government, the copyright notice is: U.S. Government work not protected by U.S. copyright.  
For papers in which all authors are employed by a Crown government (UK, Canada, and Australia), the copyright notice is: 978-1-6654-9291-1/22/$31.00 ©2022 Crown.  
For papers in which all authors are employed by the European Union, the copyright notice is: 978-1-6654-9291-1/22/$31.00©2022 European Union.  

For all other papers the copyright notice is: 978-1-6654-9291-1/22/$31.00 ©2022 IEEE.

Before Creating a PDF

  1. Add the copyright clearance code notice to the bottom of the first page of your source document.
  2. The copyright notice is applicable to all the All the Author’s Affiliations (in case all authors are not from same group as mentioned above, then please choose last one) and should be selected accordingly.
  3. Please ensure that the List and Serial numbers of Authors are same in the EasyChair module and on the submitted Paper.
  4. Proof-read your source document thoroughly to confirm that it will require no revision later. THIS IS FINAL PAPER AND NO FURTHER REVISION/CORRECTION IS POSSIBLE.

CHECKING THE FINAL PDF FOR IEEEXPLORE COMPLIANCE BEFORE SUBMISSION

Prior to the Final Submission, the pdf file should be checked through PDFeXpress by following the instructions listed below:

 

  1. New Users will first create the account on IEEE PDF eXpress site. Select create an account in link https://ieee-pdf-express.org/or directly click on https://ieee-pdf-express.org/account/signup.

    Previous users of PDF eXpress or IEEE PDF eXpress should enter the same password that was used for previous Symposia/Conferences. Verify that your contact information is valid.

  2. Then Enter the following:

    1. 56953X for the Conference ID

    2. Your email address and password

    3. Continue to enter information as prompted

    4. An online confirmation will be displayed and an email confirmation will be sent verifying your account setup

    5. Go to the Dashboard and create the new title

    6. Upload the Template of the paper and after some time, converted pdf will be sent on the mail or you directly can download from PDF eXpress.

DOWNLOAD THE PDF FILE OF YOUR PAPER FROM the PDF EXPRESS AND UPLOAD IT THROUGH easychair FOR ibssc-2022.
